Everything on this site — every name, meaning, origin and pronunciation — is yours to download and reuse for free. Build with it, study it, quote it; all we ask is a link back.
What’s inside
417 names across 30 meaning themes, each entry carrying the fields below.
- slug
- URL-safe identifier — the name page lives at /name/<slug>.
- name
- The name as written.
- gender
- f (feminine), m (masculine) or u (unisex).
- origin
- Language or culture the name comes from.
- meaning
- The verified meaning, kept short and literal.
- pronunciation
- A plain respelling, e.g. LOO-nah.
- description
- A short editorial note on the name’s story and use (JSON only).
- themes
- Meaning themes the name belongs to; the first is primary. Joined with | in the CSV.
- popularity
- A one-line popularity note where one exists, otherwise empty (JSON only).
